Our dedicated staff are committed to providing a safe, happy and welcoming environment where every child feels valued, cared for and supported. We recognise that every child is unique, and we work closely with families to ensure their individual needs, interests and stages of development are at the heart of everything we do.
We offer a rich variety of learning experiences and activities, carefully planned around the children’s individual interests and needs. Our aim is for children to feel happy, confident and excited to learn, while developing their independence, curiosity and social skills.
Our nursery follows a free-flow approach, giving children the freedom to explore and make choices about their play and learning. Alongside this, we provide structured activities and focused group times to support children’s learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Children have access to high-quality indoor and outdoor learning environments, as well as opportunities to use additional facilities within the school. This allows us to provide a wide range of experiences and environments where children can explore, learn, play and develop.
The nursery is open from 7:45am to 5:15pm, providing flexible childcare to support our families.
We believe that strong partnerships with parents and carers are an important part of a child’s nursery experience. We encourage open, honest and regular communication, working together to ensure every child feels safe, happy, supported and ready to learn.
The 2 Year Funding and Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is additional funding for early years’ settings to improve the outcomes for disadvantaged 2 - 4-year olds.
We can use the extra funding in any way we choose to improve the quality of the early years education that we provide for your child. This could include for example, additional training for our staff on early language, investing in partnership working with our colleagues to further our expertise or a hot meal every day, 1:1 support for your child or to support our staff in working on specialised areas such as speech and language.
It is well documented that high quality early education can influence how well a child does at both primary and secondary school so we do want to make the most of this additional funding. You may be aware if you have older children that a pupil premium has been available for school age children and it has proved to have given a real boost to the children receiving the funding. We want to do the same for our early years children entitled to this funding.
How can you help us?
When you fill in your Parental Declaration claim form, please ensure you provide us with your national insurance number and Date of Birth so that we can claim this additional funding on your child’s behalf (subject to eligibility).

Tax-Free Childcare
Tax-Free childcare can help with the cost of paying for childcare.
You’ll need to set up a childcare account, which both you and the government will pay into. You can then use this money to pay your childcare provider.
For every £8 you pay into the account, the government will top it up by £2.
The total top up you can get for each child is £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year). This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if your child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).
You’ll usually need to be working, and your child must be 11 or younger
