Year 2 pupils from Dudley spread joy through storytelling at Old Hastings House

In a heartwarming display of multi-generational connection, Year 2 pupils from Dudley Infant Academy embarked on a special visit to Old Hastings House on Tuesday 6 February. Led by their Assistant Principal, Joanne Luke, the children shared their favourite stories with the residents.

The children buzzed with excitement as they prepared for their visit. Clutching beloved storybooks, they made their way to Old Hastings House.

"We were incredibly proud of the children during their visit to Old Hastings House," remarked Joanne Luke, Assistant Principal. "They thoroughly enjoyed reading to the residents and interacted with such kindness, respect, and empathy."

The bond between children and elderly at Old Hastings House went beyond generations. Dudley's visit enriched lives and emphasised the value of community and compassion. Well done, Dudley!
