This report details the expenditure of funding, allocated from the Government, to support the narrowing of the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and all other pupils.
Therefore funding is provided to support those children who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) and those children who are in the care of the Local Authority (LAC).
Historically at Robsack Wood, the attainment gap between FSM children and non-FSM children is wide and we are working hard to reduce this and ensure that all children attain age-related expectations, despite their level of disadvantage.
The academy falls into an area of high deprivation and therefore has been allocated significant sums to ensure this rapid enhanced level of progress and attainment. The Government now wish for schools and academies to report this expenditure to parents.
The next Pupil Premium review will be completed in early September.
