WELCOME TO OUR ACADEMY

At Robsack Wood Primary Academy we put children first.

We aim high. They aim high. And every child succeeds.

It’s a unique setting, where children can join our nursery at three months old and stay until they leave for secondary school at eleven.

OUR EXCITING CURRICULUM SPARKS CHILDREN'S INTEREST

We build children’s skills year by year. We teach them how to employ their knowledge so they can take control of their learning.

At the heart of everything we do, is reading. It’s the key that unlocks the world.

And we keep our children interested. Art, music, dance and drama are integral parts of our curriculum. A host of extracurricular activities and sports adds even more to their experience.

Through our Pupil Voice, learning ambassadors, business ambassadors, peer mediators and sports leaders, children develop the skills they need to become citizens of the future.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS A CLASSROOM

We all know that learning can take place anywhere, and at our academy it really does.

We have fantastic outdoor facilities, including a field, a multi-use games area and woodland. Here children learn about plants and animals, as well as building dens and making fires. Team activities develop their confidence and self-esteem.

Our dedicated dance, drama and music space gives children pride in their creative pursuits. While frequent educational trips teach children about their local area.

We have created an Early Years Village which provides a specialist learning environment for children under five.

SHAPING MOTIVATED, LIFELONG LEARNERS

We make sure each child’s learning journey is packed with stimulating experiences and tailored to their needs.

We believe parents and carers are a huge part of that individual journey – and of school life in general. We invite you into school for celebrations and to regularly discuss your child’s progress.

We place a strong focus on moral, spiritual and social development as well as cultural understanding. We teach children to be independent learners. Combine the two, and we hope all our pupils grow up respecting others and with a lifelong love of learning.
