Art & Design helps learners develop positive attitudes to creative thinking and creative subjects, which benefits future learning. This subject encourages them to celebrate their own and others’ artistic experiences. Design and Technology is an innovative and creative subject, with practical learning and problem solving at the heart of each project. As a subject, it allows children to develop a broad subject knowledge, drawing on their experiences in other subjects. It enables children to learn to take risks, becoming resourceful and enterprising individuals.
