Extended Schools is open 5 days a week, 50 weeks of the year (excluding Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Bank Holidays, Bank Holiday week in August and Inset Days). Children aged 4-11 can take full advantage of the following:
Breakfast Buddies offers a healthy and nutritious breakfast to pupils before the school day. Breakfast Buddies is open from 7.45am term time. We provide a selection of cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt and juices. There are also daily specials available which include scrambled egg, baked beans, porridge, bagels to name but a few. After breakfast the children can take part in various fun activities, this also includes reading, completing weekly homework and practicing spellings.
Robsack Wood School is now offering an Ofsted Registered Out of School Hours Child Care Service, Monday – Friday after school from 15:15 to 18:00 term time. We offer supervised, structured activities for children that are stimulating and fun. We provide your child with an afternoon snack which adheres to the Robsack Wood Healthy Eating Policy.
Rascals Holiday Club is open 8am to 4pm every day during school holidays and includes breakfast and an afternoon snack. We have a professionally run and qualified team offering a huge range of activities in a safe environment, including – sports, camp crafts, arts & crafts, cooking, music, dance, science, problem solving and team building games. Children from all schools are welcome. Booking in advance is essential. Please look out for details of upcoming holidays.
The Academy's Principal is responsible for the Extended Schools provision with a dedicated Vice Principal who leads and manages the curriculum and provision.
